BCBR 2008 Dates and Early Registration!
You may have already heard that we've officially announced the dates for year two of BC Bike Race - The Pacific Traverse: May 26th-June 1st, 2008. The route will be essentially the same, with a few minor exceptions, and the experience will be spectacular!
We are officially opening early registration in July 2007. That's right! ...not long after completion of our inaugural event! We've been getting so many queries about next year's event that we just couldn't wait to open our doors to the eager bunch out there who are already manking plans to attend.

This is especially evident when partners such as Island Timberlands (ITL) make sacrifices that may potentially affect their own business in order to support the BC Bike Race. ITL made a very generous show of support for BCBR by agreeing to suspend scheduled logging operations on July 3rd so that racers may enjoy safe passage along roads through ITL property during Stage 3. We are excited to say that there will be plenty of media members about during the July 1-7 BCBR race week, so there should be no shortage of race updates to keep you informed!
We'll be updating the BCBR Blog each night with the current race results and happenings of the day. The Blog entires will be availble after 10pm PDT daily.
