BC Bike Race 2008 is SOLD OUT

As you've probably heard, all 400 spots for 2008 are officially taken and we couldn't be happier with the overwhelming response to this year's event!

A big thank you to all who've registered for the ultimate singletrack experience - we can't wait to see you out here in BC!

And if you are keen to race but think you've missed the boat, why not get on our Wait List? Life is most certainly unpredictable and one team's unfortunate circumstances could be your ticket to ride!

Keen to race but short on a partner? Check out the Team Finder for people who have registered but are looking to fill the missing half of their future dynamic duo!

And last, but certainly not least, there remains one golden opportunity to score the last 2 spots for the 2008 event - you can enter BCBR's "The Last 2 Spots" Contest for your chance to win a Grand Prize Package valued at up to $20000! Remember: You've got to enter by May 18th for your chance to win!

Seeking a Spring MTB Training Camp for 2008?

Seeking a Spring MTB Training Camp for 2008?

Here's a great opportunity to get away for a week of mountain biking, training, sunshine and remarkable scenery!

Big Mountain Bike Adventures has partnered with our own Andreas Hestler to offer a 7-day mountain biking experience in the spectacular Copper Canyon Region of Mexico! Join Dre for a week of xc-focused training that is perfectly timed for those of you training for the BCBR:

“Spring training camps are one of the best ways to concentrate your efforts in that last push to start the season. All cyclists can benefit from experiencing a training camp that prepares you for your upcoming season. Like the pro’s, getting together to build base, discuss seasonal logistics and share knowledge, training camps should be worked into every ones program.”

Dates: May 3-9, 2008  Cost: CDN$1975

Check the What's New section for more details on how you can get your train on in Mexico this spring!

BCBR Management Team Monthly Report

BCBR Management Team Monthly Report

At the beginning of this month the BCBR Management Team held their monthly face-to-face at the amazing Shawnigan Lake School...which also happens to be the location for Days 0 & 1 of this year's BCBR event.

Shawnigan Lake School will be a great host location for racers, support crew, media, and everyone else involved at the start of the BC Bike Race.

Andreas Hestler captured the essence of the weekend in both pictures and words, which we've posted in the What's New section for you to explore.

Catch you next month!
