We've Got You Covered

From start to finish, we'll take care of all the logistics to get you from start to finish on your bike. We'll transport your bags, set up your tent, arrange your ferry transfers and make sure you're reunited with your belongings at each transition.

Aid Stations

We'll have 2 fully-stocked Aid Stations along the route each day with water, energy drinks, fruit, bars, gels and snacks...lots of fuel to help keep you fired-up along the way!

Note: We will not be able to stage personal food/water supplies for racers at any of the Aid Stations. You must be self-sufficient when it comes to bringing specific personal nutritional supplies.

Technical Support: Baby your bike!

We will have world-class bike service at your disposal each day. It is a long haul and your bike will take a beating. You'll have access to our pressure wash and bike lube station with free bike lube and air, self-serve bike repair and daily secure bike storage. Would you prefer our top-notch mechanics to tune your ride? We will also be offering a pay-as-you-go program where you can hand in your bike to get looked after each day. James Wilson, our Technical Services Director, and owner of North Vancouver's Obsession: Bikes, has pulled together a talented team of wrenches to baby your bike.

Physical Support: Baby your body!

You'll be putting in long days and demanding a lot from your well-trained machine (and we mean your body this time!). Catalyst Sport Massage Inc will have top-notch sport massage therapy, physiotherapy and Thai Massage treatments available to pamper your hard-working body at the end of each day.

Visit Catalyst Sport Massage Inc today to pre-purchase your treatments online in 30, 45 and 60 minute blocks.

Booking for daily treatment times will be done in person at Day 0 Registration. The Catalyst team will be onsite from 10am-2pm.

Note that all racers who pre-purchase online will have priority to book their treatment times for the week. Head to the Catalyst area between 10am-12pm on Day 0 for your pre-paid treatment bookings. After 12pm, the bookings will be opened up to all racers...so it pays to purchase online AND get there early!

Moral Support: Bring your family and friends!

Though you don't need a tech support team, you are welcome to bring a moral support team. And here are a few tips to keep them happy and enjoying the race along with you.

  • Parking: Each support team will need a parking pass for their vehicle at Base Camp (available in the Racer Site > Purchase Upgrades). Please note that they can camp in their parking spot which will, in many cases, be a parking lot.  RVs and campers will be fine but tents may not be ideal, in which case they may wish to consider our hotel options.
  • Eating: What about meals during the race?  With a support crew meal pass they can eat breakfast and dinner with you each day (available in the Racer Site > Purchase Upgrades).
  • Arriving: Part of the fun of BCBR is being in a new town and new Base Camp each day, although the fun diminishes if your support crew gets lost along the way.  Ensure they have our very helpful document outlining driving directions and ferry reservations guidelines.
  • Exploring: BC Bike Race rolls through some incredibly beautiful areas in southwestern BC.  For more info on the sites, sounds and tastes your support crew won’t want to miss check out the Moral Support Crew teasers for each stage in The Route.
