Tech Pricing

Please be sure you read and understand the Bike Tech Process and our partnership with Obsession: Bikes before getting too deep into the 2010 pricing model below.

Labour

Due to the unique nature of bikes we will not be offering pre-paid packages for service. We are working with real world pricing and will be charging CDN$80/hour taxes included.

Here are some samples of pricing for 2010 in CDN$ with all taxes included:

• Bike Cleaning Service $15.00
• Safety Inspection $30.00*
• Comprehensive Tune Up $80.00**
• Seating Tubeless Tires $20.00 + Superjuice
• Reseating Used Tubeless Tires $25.00 + Superjuice
• Wheel Tru $20.00

*Safety Inspection includes cleaning and inspecting all welds and joints. Links and bearings will be inspected for wear and cracks. We will inspect tires for cuts, bulges or tears. Creaks, pops or other noises will be assessed for risk. We will check shocks and tires for leaks. The Safety Inspection offers you peace of mind but does not include the cost of remedying any problems discovered.

**Comprehensive Tune Up includes but is not limited to: Safety Inspection, labour required to lube or change gear cables, recalibrate gearing, adjust all bearings, tru wheels, tighten all bolts, complete simple tasks such as a saddle replacement or grip installation. Further details can be outlined at race time or via email.

Parts

We will carry a full kit of parts and have a good supply of current year XTR, XT, Sram X-O and X-9 drivetrain components. We will also supply Hayes, Shimano and Avid brake parts. Some suspension seals and kits will also be on board. We will have tires suitable for racing as well as Superjuice from Bontrager to reset tubeless systems.

Our parts pricing will be manufacturer’s suggested retail with GST and applicable PST added on top.

Packing Service

We can unpack or repack your bike. $80.00 to unpack** (includes a safety check) and $45.00 to re-pack (please be sure to clean your bike before bringing it to us).

**Let us know in advance if we are going to be unpacking your bike.
