2007 was the highly successful inaugural year for BC Bike Race, and in two years it certainly made its mark as the new kid on the block of epic multi-day mountain bike stage races.

BC Bike Race organizers are not looking to create the toughest mountain bike stage race in the world; instead, they're creating a lasting experience for competitors. When you combine in one race the most spectacular scenery and vacation destinations in Canada with the most amazing singletrack trails in the world, you get an intoxicating mixture guaranteed to wow any mountain bike enthusiast. This is BC Bike Race.

There's no doubt that multi-day stage races are tough. They challenge competitors to push beyond perceived personal limitations and to lean on each other when the going gets rough. BC Bike Race Media Pass: Get On the Inside Track

What better way to get the story than from the inside track? BC Bike Race is offering a limited number of authorized Media Passes that will give you the opportunity for coveted full-immersion coverage of the race.

A BC Bike Race Media Pass will allow you to cover the highs and lows of epic multi-day stage mountain bike racing from an insider's perspective...it's the closest thing to doing the race, without being on a bike! Follow the athletes from morning to night and get a bird's eye view of the race.

Qualified media members will receive the following near-race experience with their authorized BC Bike Race Media Pass:

• Life in Base Camp. Eat, sleep and drink with the racers with your all access pass to the Base Camp amenities.
