MEDICAL TEAM
We have developed a one-of-a-kind medical program to effectively manage the challenges of an epic race in British Columbia’s vast terrain. Comprised of paramedics, nurses and doctors, our highly trained and professional Medical Team members are ready to respond to incidents on and off course.
MECHANICAL SUPPORT
At both base camps, Obsession Bikes is set up to provide mechanical support. Their purpose is to ensure that your bike makes it to the finish line each day.
Obsession mechanics have been servicing the bikes of BCBR since the beginning. Each of their mechanics have multiple years of experience working in multi-day stage races. These mechanics are considered to be some of the best in the business.
Services include daily a la carte servicing as well as their recommended Platinum Tune.
It is strongly recommended that you source parts at your local bike shop before arriving at BCBR in case Obsession doesn’t have a part you need. You can find a list of recommended spare parts by clicking the button below.
WELLNESS
Competing in an elite multi-day athletic event is no joke. You’ve planned, and prepared, and now you are going to push your body to the max training and throughout race week. Having a solid recovery plan in place at the end of each stage is key to staying injury free and performing at your best.
The BC Bike Race Wellness team is renowned in the sports event world because it is a fully mobile clinic with easy access to experienced Massage Therapists. We all train and play as hard as you do…and we understand what it takes to stay at the top of our game.
At the end of each stage, you will find the Wellness Team situated right in base camp…just look for the blue Wellness signs. Drop in and stretch, roll out, or schedule a 30-minute treatment. Receipts for extended insurance can be provided if required.
FINISH LINE FOOD
Finish Line Food will have a variety of food, snacks, water and hydration products available to replenish you after a long day in the saddle.
They also offer plenty of smiles to replenish your soul after a long day on the trails.
BEER GARDEN
End your day sharing stories with your fellow racers at the chill & beer Lounge! Beers, Bubbly, Water and good times. Sit down, relax and put your feet up post race.
