Your race entry fee includes everything on course to support you, including aid stations, on-course tech support, finish line food, and medical support.
For your off-bike program, you have three options:
• Hit the easy button. Purchase our transportation, accommodation and meal plan (not included in your race fee)
• Do your own thing. Drive yourself / Book a hotel, Bed and Breakfast, or campsite / Cook for yourself
• Mix and match. Choose a combination of the first two options
Below is some information about our “Easy Button” options. More information and pricing will be available soon. For updates, join our mailing list.
THE BASECAMP EXPERIENCE
To truly make this a week that’s all about biking, we offer an EASY BUTTON for when you’re off the bike: The Basecamp Experience. While you focus on soaking up all the amazing singletrack and enjoying the camaraderie of other riders, let us take care of your accommodations, meals and transportation.
Wake up to the famous Screaming Chicken, watch the daily awards, enjoy local cultural activities, hang out and make friends with riders from around the world. As evening falls, dinner turns into a communal fest—a chance to laugh, recharge and share the stoke of each ride.
Basecamp is also where you’ll find the following services:
• Racer Relations
• Finish Line Food
• Medical – paramedics, nurses and doctors with experience treating mountain bike injuries
• Obsession Bikes Mechanical Services – experienced mechanics who keep your bike rolling
• Wellness – Registered Massage Therapists
• Retail
• Beer Garden
• Bike wash
TENT CAMPING
Stay where the action is in a spacious four-person tent during race week. Each tent is sold as a single unit and you have the option to share a tent with another racer if you both choose.
If you are sharing, please let us know who your tent mate is so that your tent tags get labeled correctly. Please note that tents may only be shared with other registered racers, and not with any personal support crew if they are not racing.
Your tent will be set up for you at each of our basecamps. You just have to bring your sleeping bag, pillow and the best sleeping pad you can lay your hands on. Teddy bear optional – we don’t judge.
Shower and washroom facilities will be provided at Basecamp. You will also have easy access to on-site pay-per-use services such as Wellness, Obsession (the bike tech team), and meal halls if you opt for the Meal Plan.
Please note we have a limited number of tents available. They will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
