TRAVELLING BY AIR

Travelling to BCBR, we recommend flying into:

Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

  • This B.C.’s largest international airport and is about a 2 hour drive to Whistler.
  • You can rent a vehicle here if you plan to transport yourself for the week.
  • You can book a shuttle to Whistler from here if you plan to use our transportation program for race week.

We recommend flying HOME from one of the following three airports:

  • Nanimo Airport (YCD)
    • This airport is on Vancouver Island and is the closest to the Cowichan Valley, our Day 5 location.

TRAVELLING BY VEHICLE

To get to our start location, Whistler, by vehicle, you will need to take the Sea to Sky Highway, Highway 99 North, from Vancouver.

Staying in Basecamp is the way to go to get the full BCBR Experience. It’s where you’ll find camping, meal plans, wellness, daily awards, post-race fun and our famous beer garden. Join our mailing list for updates on the 2027 options.
