In 2027, we are wrapping all the kick-ass trails and good times we’re known for into a sharper, more focused 5-day experience. Life is busier than ever. Taking a full week away isn’t possible for everyone. The new five-day format makes BC Bike Race more accessible without compromising the challenge, community, or world-class trails that racers expect.
Each day, you’ll take on 30-45km of the best trails our host communities have to offer. Courses are designed with the support of experienced local riders who understand the assignment: to give you your best week on a bike.

THE DETAILS
• 30-45 kms per day
• Mix of tech and flow trails, blue to light black
• Separate course from the Enduro race
• Transportation between stage locations available

THE DESTINATIONS
Whistler. Squamish. Cumberland. Parksville, North Cowichan. Five stages across some of the most sought-after trail networks in the world, each one a different flavour of riding.
THE FERRY
Midweek, the race crosses the Salish Sea to Vancouver Island. Catch your breath, grab a beer, watch for whales. It’s the kind of mid-race moment you don’t get anywhere else.
THE VIBE
Same basecamp as the Enduro racers. Same bacon stations, beer gardens, and finish line energy. You’re racing with 600 other people who love bikes as much as you do.

Embark upon The Ultimate Singletrack Experience…SOLO! For each of the five days, the guts and the glory are all yours! Race categories for Epic Solo Riders are:
- U19
- Open Men
- Open Women
- Open Non-Binary
- 40+ (men, women)
- 50+ (men, women)
- 60+ (men, women)
TEAMS OF TWO
You will each be issued a bike plate displaying your team number. For each of the five days, you and your teammate will start the race together and your team time will be assigned the time that your last team member crosses the finish line. You’ll share the guts and the glory as a partnership. Race categories for Epic Teams of Two are:
- Open Men
- Open Women
- Open Non-binary
- Open Mixed
- 80+ (men)
- 100+ (men)
YOUTH
We now offer a U19 category (open to ages 15-19) and special pricing for U23 Racers and full time post-secondary students. 15-18-year-olds must be accompanied by a guardian (off-bike) for the week. They can register in BikeReg and the discount will automatically show. All others in this category, please contact Racer Relations at info@bcbikerace.com to register at a youth discount.
Note: at least 5 individuals are required in a category to be eligible for daily awards.

Note: Prices are RACE ENTRY ONLY and do NOT include accommodation, transportation and food.
We highly recommend you purchase the insurance offered at checkout.
YOUTH category includes 15-18-year-olds and post-secondary students aged 19-23. 15-18-year-olds must be accompanied by a guardian for the week. The guardian may also race but it is not mandatory. 15-18-year-old youth can register in BikeReg and the discount will automatically show. Post-secondary students: email info@bcbikerace.com to get your discount code. Note that this discount is only for new entries and cannot be applied retroactively.
* The ferry crossing to Vancouver Island is an additional cost and is not included in your race registration. For information on ferry costs from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo, visit bcferries.com.
